Callisto software is compatible with multiple operating systems and applications, and supports virtually any number of users and output devices.

Gain total control of print management across your entire network. Callisto is a powerful solution which is capable of monitoring and manipulating print functions. Callisto saves you time and enables you to gain maximum efficiency from your printers.

With Callisto, a virtual print queue is created that appears to users as a single printer. A number of alternative devices can then be defined which could service the print request. If a printer goes off-line for any reason, printing is automatically re-directed to an alternative device. There are options for load balancing across printers. These include combining the power of available printers to optimize print engine speed and setting maximum job sizes for individual printers.

Office departments typically produce documents that demand a higher specification machine just to cope with this task. With Callisto, these jobs can now be shared between printers in the same or even different departments. This means that you can now have lower volume machines that meet daily requirements and which can also be shared when increased volume is required. Callisto can be configured to allow re-routing of print jobs to another similar printer when your assigned printer is unable to print.

Copy Splitting allows you to split large print jobs across multiple devices in one of two ways. When jobs are split evenly, an equal number of sets are printed on each device. With Smart-Load-Balance copy splitting, the sets are split over each device in proportion to engine speed. Pool Print (Auto Direction) routes jobs that exceed the maximum page count, copy count or total page count.

Callisto monitors print queues, and redirects a job when the printer is busy, ensuring that your print job prints on the first available device. Callisto also notifies you when your job is redirected, so you know where to pick it up. Equal Engine Utilization sends jobs in sequence to printers in the cluster. This assures equal usage across all devices. Broadcast Print sends complete and identical jobs to all output devices in the cluster. This option is useful if a job needs to be printed in several locations, such as satellite offices. The Monitored Queues tab provides Administrators with complete management of print queues and jobs. Prioritized jobs in a queue, pause, resume, delete, copy and/or move jobs between printers and more.
